1 package Oreo cookies
1 package Cream Cheese, softened
1 package chocolate chips (any flavor)
2-3 teaspoons shortening
Crush the Oreo's until very fine. Mix the cream cheese and crushed Oreo's together in a mixing bowl until thoroughly combined. Chill the dough until it is easy to handle. Roll the dough into 1-inch size balls. Chill again if necessary. Melt the chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave on 50% power, 1 minute at a time, until it is melted and smooth. Dip the truffles into the chocolate and place it on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper that has been sprayed with Pam. Place in the refrigerator and chill until the chocolate is set. Mmmmmm!
